Firefox Plug-in

If you are a Firefox user then you are probably a little jealous of your IE colleagues proudly boasting about their Skype toolbar for IE.
Well relax, because this is for you.
Beesync have entered a Firefox plug-in into the extras gallery that will make you happy.
It’s not a toolbar but a sidebar and it enables the following features:
Chat
Call
Adding new contacts
Sending files
Sending voicemails
Viewing a profile
All from the comfort of the Firefox browser!

Find it here in the extras gallery.
Note
The download has an .XPI extension, the easiest way I have found to install it, is to drag and drop it on a Firefox window and it does the right thing and starts the install process.
One last note - You need Skype 1.4 and Firefox 1.0.X (Firefox 1.5 beta is not supported yet).

Select "Skype Contacts" from Tools Menu or use the Alt+U keyboard shortcut. Note that the latest uneuku-0.1.8 supports also Firefox 1.5 beta.

Three years later and still no integration with Firefox ...

And now there's firefox integration, but they don't even ask you whether you want it. They install it by default, no option to avoid it. I hate whoever made that decision. ASK before fucking with my browser.
