Building a Skype VB App

Yesterday I converted the C# Skype project from Skype Night to VB so you VB guys don't feel left out. Currently its available in WMV format only but I am still planning on making these available in QuickTime format.
I am having a problem with the compression utility, a 30mb WMV file turns out to be over 150mb in QuickTime, I have a few experts looking into the problem and I am just waiting for them to tell me what I am doing wrong. I hope to resolve this soon, I am sure it’s just a matter of choosing the right option from the menu and that will solve the problem.
In the meantime you can see Building a Skype application with Visual Basic and ActiveS - Part 1 Getting Started in the LearningZone.
I am going to extend both the C# and VB apps over the coming weeks to add in additional functionality, so if you are new to developing Skype applications keep watching as they will be an ideal way to get started.
German Koninin the creator of the Skype Tracer utility, you may remember was a winner of the developer of the month contest recently and won himself a Linksys CIT200 Skype phone. As you can see from the picture he likes it.
