SkypeWeb and Friday stuff

on February 10, 2006 in Developer Blog.
Last day of the week, I hope everyone is set for beers.
Talking of beers, I am keen to put the Skype credit card behind the bar one night in London and sponsor the beers and perhaps a curry. If you are interested in meeting up ping me via SkypeDevBlog and depending on the interest I will set something up.
SkypeWeb
The SkypeWeb beta period is now over so thanks for all those who took part.
The default download from Skype.com is now presence enabled so if you are looking for SkypeWeb make sure you have the latest version installed and you should be all set.
We are having a few problems publishing documentation at the moment causing Triona much pain and grief, so until that is resolved I have uploaded the SkypeWeb documentation as a Doc file which you can get from here.
API Competition
Don’t forget we have the Developer API Competition where you have the chance to win €€€€. If you haven’t looked already then take a look at
ActiveX Controls
I started a video yesterday on building applications using the Skype ActiveX controls. They are incredibly easy to use an enable you to build a Skype application in less than 5 seconds with out writing a line of code.
I ran out of time but I should be able to publish it on Monday.
