Inside Skype I am the program manager for Skype Toolbars. That means that I am in charge of expanding the Skype ecosystem into other applications. Skype is superior for communicating and I want to make it possible to initiate communications in the applications you use the most. Skype by itself is great but Skype together with other applications it is fantastic! The Skype Toolbar for Outlook is my baby.

My background is quite diverse – I have been a teacher, a fire-fighter, a consultant and had a range of other odd jobs. I have also run a couple of businesses – most notably a website branded with my own name.

I plan to write blog posts about smart ways to build Skype-enabled applications. Code samples, news about new components and other ideas, that I hope will be of benefit to developers.
