[cottee.org](http://cottee.org/?p=163) re-posted one of [zobbo's photos from flickr](http://www.flickr.com/photos/zobbo/21864649/) regarding the remake of skype.com, and there was a comment by [Roger](http://www.ralsite.net/) there that caught my eye.

Heh! And there was me thinking that they just made up these endorsements!

We didn't make up any of the stories you are now seeing on skype.com. They're all from real users, either from the [Skype stories forum](http://forum.skype.com/viewforum.php?f=1), or submitted to us through our feedback form, customer support or other channels. We also seek permission from the authors -- many are happily ok, some suggest small changes, some stories we withdraw and replace with new ones from time to time. But we don't make things up. That would be lame, and we don't need to when we have such a great selection of REAL stories to choose from. (And please share yours too, or go read and comment on the others' stories in the [forum](http://forum.skype.com/viewforum.php?f=1).)

Also, all of the people and stories here on share.skype.com and [skype.com Insider View section](http://www.skype.com/company/jobs/insiderview/) are real. We just rearranged our [Engineering Staff stories](http://www.skype.com/company/jobs/insiderview/engineering.html) into a more readable format, so if you're thinking of joining us in building Skype, these are the actual people you'll be working with.
