Skype people in London chaos

By My status Jaanus on July 7, 2005 in Life at Skype.

There are bad things happening in London at this time, you may have heard about the bomb explosions on London's public transport network. Many of you are asking us through all channels if we are safe. Quick answer: yes, we are. Some of Skype people are/were very close to the tragedies but no one got hurt. Many thanks for your concern.

Skype is working and our services are operating as usual.

Tip - Add additional information to the name field in your Skype profile to add additional information about your whereabouts or status. Helpful to let others know your timezone, location, or even that you are ok in a moment like this.

Thank You Skype!!!

Living in london, both my landline and cell phone were down pretty much all day, but skype allowed me to let members of my family know that i was fine, and put their minds at ease, so, once again, thank you, you guys have the communication device of the new century, well done!

Thank God you are safe.
One of my best friend is in London these days, and I can't contact her in any ways...
May God be with us all!

i think this product (SKYPE) should be used instead of MSN Chat.
plus you have to download the new versions each time. That will make your computer computer slow.

I would rate SKYPE: 96%

One day i would want to make a PEER TO PEER, or a CHAT ROOM.

It just goes to show the never ending work that all Skype employees are doing to make this a true world leader in communication. I am impressed.
The ease of installation and downloads is amazing.

Nice going all.
