Just incredible. Skype is fantastic for communication across borders. I work for an online optical company - FramesDirect.com (http://www.framesdirect.com) and we're expanding our operation from the USA to other countries (though we currently accept international orders). The newest online extension is a contact lens web site in South Africa. We also have employees all over the USA and until recently in India. Skype has been our way of communication for several months now. Our main headquarters is in Houston, Texas, but I live in Rancho Mirage, California. I spend a good part of the day talking to Houston through a laptop. Outstanding!

I just recently bought this phone from Amazon. Works pretty well. Installation took couple of minutes, plugged the phone my computer and made a test call all under 5 minutes. The only noticeable difference over my home phone is I WAS TALKING TO FAMILY IN ASIA FOR FREE WITHOUT the annoying static.

I just got this phone and I really love it! I live in Hong Kong, have lots of family and friends in the US and Canada, I am totally impressed with the sound quality... It's even better than my mobile. My friends been telling me about it a while back but I didn't think it would be this good... you guys are going to put telephone companies out of biz...

I am very happy with my purchase, but most importantly I am very impressed with the support that's provided by Ipfones. It's good to see you guys understand the importance of customer service. why would anyone wants a usb cabled phone at this age of wirelessness. I can't wait skype improve the voice canceling quality. I love to talk at home with my PC on and just lay down on bed free from any gadget.

Great product..Just picked it up in Europe... Wireless is great but if battery goes out because i am on the phone 5 hours a day i am cooked... So keep the wire for us and make a new wireless one for others...(The sales clerk told me they are coming out with wireless this end of summer so chill) I use my new IPFONES with my wireless WIFI laptop anyway...It's the lightest laptop on the market and it goes everywhere i go... I now can call to all my friends around the world....So cool....

Le premier test que j'avais effectué avec Skype et un micro casque, ne m'avait pas vraiment donné satisfaction, à cause de la qualité du son ! Quand j'ai testé le téléphone IPFones IP-700m, j'ai de suite été surpris par la qualité de la voix, l'absence d'écho, de grésillement, et surtout de souffle ! A un tel point que lorsque mon correspondant s'est arrêté de parler, j'ai demandé "tu es encore là ?" et il ne comprenait pas pourquoi ! Même le souffle d'une ligne téléphonique classique disparait ! Una sa lahat, gusto kung pasalamatan ang IPFones management kasi salamat sa kanila, puede na akong tumawag kahit saan sa mundo for free o mura lang. Yong sound quality nang telephones nila ay napakagaling. Walang echoes o kahit ano man. Napaka comportable itong gamitin. IPFones ay maliit at hindi mabigat gaya nang mga cell phones. J'utilise Skype depuis un an en France et dans tous mes nombreux déplacements à l'étranger. Le déclic s'est produit avec l'utilisation des téléphones IPFones. En effet Thomas Bui m'a fait la démonstration de ce produit et j'ai été séduit par la qualité du son, la facilité d'utilisation (même pour la Grand-Mère de 82 ans !)

The biggest disappointment about this phone is that it ONLY runs on Windows. As an Apple user since 1978, I get very upset when developers ignore the large market of Mac users.

Because Mac users are so virus and spyware free, we put in fewer calls to customer support. Think about it; this company is missing a market of close to 50 million users.

I have written a letter of complaint to IPFones, and I wish that Skype would be more sensitive to the fact that its "partners" discriminate against a large segment of the computer market.

This product runs only on 'Microsoft Windows'. You have a plan to make it 'Mac' compatible, but what about the GNU/Linux users? I am a linux user for last 4 years. Linux is a open platform and it should be easy for you to port your applications to Linux.

Don't buy from their site. It seems they check their orders once a week or so. It took them 5 days to change order status from "pending" to "confirmed" and it has been already 10 days since I paid and it has not been shipped yet.

They answered saying something about "flood of orders" - my order number is ...36 - does it look like flood to you?

Then they said ..."you know the shipping to Brazil takes 2-3 weeks".I know it takes time to get to where I am (Brazil), but in order to get here they have to ship it first...

Please address the lack of mac support immediately. There's no excuse for allowing support for other platforms to lag behind. Especially when everyone else offers open documentation so freely. Unix support should be early also.

You won't never use your phone anymore if you are always DSL online. This works exactly (much better) as a phone with digital clarity sound and best of ALL, encrypted !!!
