It's now 08:07am in the U.K, I log onto my account page and it just says

"Today is not SkypeOut Gift Days, but perhaps it’s coming up soon?"

Well it said it was wednsday and here that day is, the skype website now claims it is wednsday so why can't I get my free skype out?

It is now 09:16 am in france and I still can't get the "free day" button on my account page .... I already had a skype gift 9 days ago on the first "gift day". Thus, is there any problem with the skype server or can we have a gift only one time in a month ? still waiting....

This will be my first gift so i presume its the same problem for everyone, I will try again this afternoon and hopefully it will be working then.

It's not working on my account. I got a gift at about 9, 9:30 GMT. Now I can see on my account 0.2 Euro, I dialed the number but it hasn't worked. It said: "You need skypeout to call the normal phone number". WHAT IS WRONG?(I use the newest version of OnetSkype

look at comments above, you will have active skypeout about one or two hours after receiving free minutes.

I tried getting my free credits last night but still haven't received them even though it says they have been delivered to me. Also is it true that you will only give .20 Euro? I am trying to call my family in the Seychelles and that would give me 30 seconds. Hardly seems like 10 minutes to me?? Get your act together please!!

You people need to stop telling them what to do and how to do it and how to give something out for "free". They don't need to give anything out for free. Stop yelling at what they do wrong and how they should give it out for free. I'm a coder and programmer my self and I hate it when I make free scripts and other stuff for free and give it out and people still want to yell at me and say what's bad and how it should be. It's free if you don't like what they do or how it works then just don't use it. Thats as easy as it gets.

The reason: my ISP's servers were down in my area yesterday evening when I was home and trying to get online! Murphy's law still holds
