We keep getting some of the most amazing [stories](http://www.skype.com/share/stories/). Glad we could help.
> Dear Skype,
I must express my gratefulness to you. I was in Dahab (Egypt) on windsurfing vacation with my son, when the [terrorists attacked the little tourist village El Masbat](http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/04/24/egypt.blasts/index.html). The telephone&mobile lines were dead because of the total overload. After 15 minutes of unsuccesful attempts to make a call to my wife & family, I went to the internet center on the beach, signed in to Skype (fortunately there was about 3 EUR left in my account) and informed my family that everything is ok with me and my son. After that experience I will always have some money on my Skype account.
