Skype helps your (or friends') kids go to bed

A real-life story from one of Skypers about the effects of Skype video.
Heh, my brother’s kid is 1.9 old or such and she’s quite a brat when trying to put her to bed. Million reasons to get out, walk about, read a book etc.
Yesterday we did first-ever video call with her in the evening and I finished up by telling her that let’s go to sleep now. Today brother tells me that she got up and ran to her bed without wishing good night to her dad and fell asleep almost immediately.

Sad. I can see the day were courts will justify the quasi permanent separation under spurious reasons of children from one of their parent (mostly the dad in the western world) under the pretext of an existing permanent video link.
They will even throw in some self proclaimed experts to tell us it is even good for the child.
Said it already once stop playing trendy and go back to basics – repeat with me. It must only be a tool to make a call and nothing else...
