> With the recent launch of the Send Money feature we here at Skype are hoping to hear about some successes you've had with it.
Have you transferred money to a friend, relative or loved one in urgent need? Given a gift via Send Money? Whatever you've done with the new feature, we want to hear about it.

It asks for an email address because it says the recipient does not have the newest version of skype yet. But when I enter an email and click continue, the window fills with error messages and HTML code.

I have not been able to send money at all!!! I setup my paypal account with skype. But I never get the screen to send money. When I right click on the contact person's name and then click on send money, it shows a screen with the 3 steps to send money. I can do nothing after that. Useless!!

I tried Send Money.
Everything was fine until skype switched to paypal. Paypal asked for log in. I logged in to paypal and got the Profile/"Get Verified and Lift Sending". It then got stuck.

Sounds like a good idea but I have questions you haven't addressed or havenot organized in one simple place ::
Why would I use the Skype/PayPal send money feature when I already have PayPal? Does it improve or get more complicated?
Does Skype charge to send or receive? Are fees more, less or the same?
Will you answer me directly or do I check back here someplace?

looks like there is one advantage:
Money sent to a PayPal Personal account:
When a user receives money through Skype to a PayPal personal account, the first credit/debit card funded payment the recipient receives is free. All future card funded payments will be subject to the fees for receiving payments for PayPal personal accounts'
THE FIRST CREDIT/DEBIT CARD FOUNDET PAYMENT FOR FREE.
looks like an advantage?
