Hello again,
Everyone at Skype continues to work hard at resolving the current software issue. We are making good progress. We feel that we are on the right track to bring back services to normal.
We thank you for your continued support and are thinking of you every step of the way.

Hi everyone:
First and foremost, i like to say thank you to the Skype team, most of the users appreciate that you keep us informed of your progress. In other hand, if there is a way that may help you to solve this problem, please tell us.

We all hope for a return of service. You get to depend on it so much each day and this morning I thought it was working and it was not...what a bummer.

Thanks, Skype, for keeping us informed. When my Skype connection first went out, I thought that the problem was with my computer or my router, since I had just had some emergency electrical repair work done. I was really glad to learn that the problem was on your end, not mine. Selfish of me, I know!
Keep up the good work.

Hello from Daytona Beach again. I just found the problem with the playback device. How silly! All you have to do is put "windows default device" on all at the skype audio settings. uncheck ring to pc and check let skype select divice. Alas! it only took me 2 days to read all the way through the instructions. Oh well, some of us are not as literate as we thought. Marlene
