TLC for business users

30 percent of Skype's users are businesses, and the Business Control Panel is a handy way for them to manage Skype credit and SkypeIn numbers. The trusty panel now knows some new tricks:
-- Easily invite co-workers (using a company email list)
-- Create a members directory so employees know who else belongs to the same company
-- View itemized call reports for your members
-- Purchase up to €1,000 of Skype credit at once
-- Automatically top-up your Control Panel credit balance
Read Scott Davison's fresh post on the Skype Business blog for details on these new features.
On a related note, if you haven't visited Skype's business site lately, do take a look. It's been revamped with simplicity and clarity in mind. As you'd expect, access to the Business Control Panel is as prominent as ever, but overall, information is easier to find -- including pointers on Skype security. Last but not least, business users also now have their own support page. Look for the Customer support link -- sending in your business-related support tickets through it will help speed up response times.

I now have Skype running through Fring on my new Nokia E61i. My phone or Skype seems to get confused when I'm at home and have Skype running on both PC and phone. Should I turn off Skype on the PC as long as my phone is on?
Thanks

Hi,
I have a E61i (german edition) as well. How did you install the software ? Did you use 2.2. for PDAs ?

Hello,
I have three suggestions to make:
Can we hope that in a Skype future version, we can separate the ringer volume from the speech one?
Reason: with a PC to make sure you hear the ringtone you have to push at full the volume of the system (main vol. 100% + wave 100%) while, at the time you are speaking /corresponding you have to low the volume to the quarter (main & wave 20 to 25%).
And that for each call!
Note that the option "tone from the PC speaker (internal)” does not work on a laptop.
In addition, better yet:
Can we hope that the bell (the ringtone) pass by the speakers while the speech would pass (only) by the headset (proposed on optional feature)?
Reason: making like that, with a PC it would be no longer required to connect and disconnect constantly the headset jacks (disconnect to hear the tone, connect to converse).
I said ‘optional' to keep the possibility to hear the correspondent’s voice by the speakers (for example, for a conference).
Note that the option "tone from the PC speaker (internal)” does not work on a laptop.
I’m mainly using a Toshiba Satellite.
Third suggestion: a "suggestion box" in this site would be welcome!
Thank you in advance,
Vincent
