it worked on my new xda (windows mobile 6.1)
however, the sound only comes out from the big speaker. I didn't have a choice of ear speaker or load speak choice.
could you look into the issue. thanks

This is a known problem and is to do with the phone manufacturers restricting the use of the earpiece to the phone only. Until the phone manufacturer fixes this Skype can't do a thing.

Only using wifi (for now) on my Epix and voice comes only through the speaker phone. Found nothing on the Samsung site about this. Anyone have this problem initially and fix it?

I am running Skypefor Mobile 2.5 on a Samsung SGH-i780 and have the same problem that the sound comes out of the speaker. My colleague has the Samsung Omnia and this behaves as you would wish with the sound coming out of the earpiece. Anyone know any answers for the i780?

Skype audio output locked to a speakerphone seems to be a design policy of the Windows Mobile platform. The WM design community refuse all comment or change to this policy. I have had this problem with Blackjack I, III and with the new Epix. I have been a die hard user of the WM platform since the release of the mpx200 in 2002, I am considering abondonment of use due to the refusal to resolve this issue. I can only assume they are OK with the dimished use of their products.

If anyone knows of a WM6+ 3G-capable handset that will put the audio to the ear piece, or even to a wired/bluetooth headset, Even if it with a mod or patch do tell!

Hi,
I got the same issue with a HTC Touch 3G (Jade).
On the following web page, I found a solution to route skype audio to earpiece.
