Today we passed through Cook - the most remote town in Australia. Not only does it have an exclusive country club AND an evacuation point, it's also teaming with wildlife.

Hi there,
If you say that Cook is so remote, what about Cooberpeedie. If I remember correctly, it's mostly underground.
Enjoy the open spaces and keep posting your Australianisms.
Cheers, Greg

Enjoying your travel comments! While you're Down Under you must visit New Zealand. Pretty remote on the South Island and only a stone's throw from Antarctica. I have family that I've ony met once in Nelson but, like most Kiwis, they are very freindly. Lots of sheep, too! Baaaaa!
