The Reg, Gizmodo, and many more bigging up the NetGear SPH101 Wifi phone

Just as the sexy NetGear Wi-fi phone is hitting the shelves in all its shiny white gadgetness, well respected website The Register has got its hands on a review phone and the verdict is: It's a winner.
And it's not just 'The Reg' which is impressed; the gadget-crazy Gizmodo folks gave it the thumbs up this week, giving it a run-up against its more-than-worthy Wifi phone contender from Belkin.
These great reviews were accompanied by the news that Skypers throughout the Middle East would also be able to get their hands on the SPH101 very soon indeed.
There's also a great in-depth look at the phone from Jan Geirnaert at Skype-watch.com, who has really put it through its paces including some videos of the phone in action, and I think his quote says it all...:
"Just have a look. It is white, it is cute, it is squared but feels «roundisch» and it speaks Skype. You must get one. Do it now!".
Skype Gear is not responsible for what may happen to anyone who doesn't take Jan's advice...
The SPH101 was in stock at time of writing at dabs.com in the UK for an eminently reasonable £143.53, or from the Skype store in the US for a thoroughly respectable $279.99. Click here for a great product demo.
