Route your mobile phone calls through Skype on your home PC...

Now, boxes that allow any standard home phone to be used for making Skype phones have been around for a while. Once in place, these allow you to make and receive calls via Skype from pretty much any old tone-dial phone (provided the PC's on) just by plugging the phone and the PC into the back of the box.
The VoSky Call Center can do this, but also offers a neat extra feature. Once it is in place, you can simply dial your home phone from your mobile in order to route any call you want to make via Skype. Of course, you'll still be paying for the call home, but this is great for making international calls from your mobile when you're out and about.
Inevitably there are a couple things to bear in mind:
- Obviously you need to have your PC on with Skype running at home to use it
- If you have an answering machine on your home phone you'll probably need to disable it
Still, for around an extra £10 over the standard Vosky Internet Phone Wizard this could be a useful extra feature.
For full details on how it works, how to set it up and what it's really like to use in practice, I recommend Ubergizmo's exhaustive review, or you can buy the Vosky Call Center from the Skype shop for £48 / €71.45 / $69.99. FUll specification here.

Stephen, if you want to use your office headset or handset with Skype, there's a new product called ZoomSwitch USB Headset Switch that adds USB functionality to your existing office headset or handset. You can switch back and forth between your office phone and computer by pressing a simple button on the Zoom Switch. It connected to your phone through the handset port (RJ9). There is more information at www.ZoomSwitch.com for anyone who is interested.

Hi, I am new to Skype and have just bought and installed a VOIP telephone adapter [Netcomm V210P]onto my PC to have a hand set work with VOIP. I now require SIP service Provider information to complete the installation of the adapter. Is this information available for Skype and if so, where do I find it?
