CES 2007: IPEVO pull 3 new Skype phones out of the bag

Taiwanese manufacturer Ipevo just don't muck about: rather than sticking with the one Skype announcement at CES this year, they've gone for three.
First up is a Skype desktop internet phone, the Solo.1:
This is really a brand new category for Skype phones, combining the familiarity of a normal desktop phone, with the advanced features and cheap calling of Skype. As Skype software is actually running in the phone, you don't actually need your PC on to make Skype calls from this phone. It features a large colour screen, from which amongst other things you can flick through your existing contacts and search for new ones, alter your Skype status, check your Skype voicemail and view your call history.
Next up is the Free.2 USB handset, a Skype phone which simply plugs into the USB socket on your PC. It builds very much on the existing Free.1, but the addition of a screen means you can now browse through your Skype contacts and call straight from the screen, without having to resort to going back to the PC. Unlike the Solo.1, this phone does need to have your PC on in order to make calls:
Last but not least is the cunning TRIO speakerphone. Thanks to the clever design which is an Ipevo hallmark, just by turning the phone around it becomes a speakerphone as well as a handset, killing two birds with one phone. Again, it does need your PC to be connected to operate.
Look out for all of these phones, as well as any others announced at CES, very soon at the Skype Shop: www.skype.com/shop.

Hi, I have a ipevo vp170 and I am having problems with hearing and talking with it. The sound is very intermittent. Is there any thing that I can do to fix it? Or do I need a new phone? I have checked all the preferences and they are all correct. Look forward to hearing from you!
