Skype launches unified retail solution at CeBIT

What is blue and white and has a rainbow on its front? No, it's not a funky
version of the Finnish flag - it's the newly launched Skype Retail Ready Solution.
Launched in co-operation with TX - Think Xtra, a European distributor focusing on innovative retail solutions, the Skype Retail Solution is designed to help high street retailers position Skype Certified products within their stores.
So, what's all the fuss about? The thing that is unique with this solution is that it brings together a wide range of different Skype phones and accessories on one unified Skype stand.
To showcase these products, retailers will be offered a full range of point-of-sale materials, including free standing display units complete with Skype certified products, as well as a host of other in-store materials to support sales.

The product range on offer to retailers includes a full spectrum of entry-level, co-branded products designed specifically for first-time Skype users. Equally importantly, for returning customers, the range will include products designed for the more experienced Skype user.
