Skypegear Roadtest: Logitech Premium Stereo USB Headset 350

So I've been doing several of these catch-up reviews of products that have out for a while, and the US store has been kind enough to provide me with samples. But one thing they didn't have to provide me with is the Logitech USB 350 headset--I already own it and use it as my day-to-day headset. Here’s my review.
First Impressions
It's not the smallest headset--it's fairly large and only makes you look slightly silly when you're wearing it. But it's solidly built. I can throw it into a bag and not worry about it. It adjusts down on both sides for a good fit and I really like the microphone--it swivels and it's hard plastic. Some other headsets have flexible mics that need to be readjusted all the time because they move on their own--not so with the USB 350. With the hard plastic design you always know the mic is exactly where the Logitech engineers wanted it for best performance. The headset connects to your computer via USB, and it has a mute / volume control button with a blue light on the front and a clip on the back to keep the cord out of the way. The button lights up to let you know it's working, and the light flashes when mute is on.
Functionality
I think the sound quality with the 350 is excellent, both for calls and for audio in general. It might just be a personal bias but I always think that audio coming out of a PC digitally via USB sounds better than audio coming out of standard headphones. Music sounds great on the headset.
The earpieces are big and cover up most of your ears. I find the headset quite comfortable to wear, but it does do a good job of covering up your ears. Sometimes when I'm wearing the headset for a long time my ears start getting a little warm because it covers so much of them. But after a little break I'm ready to resume my tunes or make another call.
Also, in my clumsy way, every so often I accidentally hit the mute button. I'll be talking and talking until a friend will say, 'wait, are you still there?'--and then I unmute myself. Not an issue for the more coordinated, certainly.
Conclusion
If you need a high fidelity headset, you can't go wrong with the Logitech USB 350. It sounds great, it's built solidly, but keep in mind that it's less sleek than some other headsets and might make your ears a little warm depending on how it fits your head. You can pick up the 350 at the Skype store internationally—it’s $49.95 in the US, £35.95 in the United Kingdom, or 53,95 € in the rest of Europe.

Comments
I have a logitech headset and when I try to connect it to my new 24inch iMac I get this annoying clicking feedback. And the volume keeps going up and down no matter how much I click on the button on the logitech.
It did the same thing on my older iMac also.
