Tell Skypegear how your Skype phone helps you at work, at home or on the move for your chance to win a brand new Skype phone every month...

Well, we haven’t been getting any entries because we haven’t been talking about any contests. At all. So we’d like to gradually change that, and to start we’re going to have a little competition. The prize is the Sony VAIO Mouse Talk VN-CX1 we reviewed a few weeks ago.

Over the next three weeks we want to hear about what Skype gear is doing for you. Is it making you more efficient or saving you time and money? Tell us. But here’s the catch. It has to be in the form of a haiku.

You can talk about the Skype gear you use or about how much you need the Sony Mouse Talk—anything Skype related is fair game. It can be serious or funny, just make sure it's creative and short (any entry that isn't actually a haiku—a 3 line poem with lines of 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables—will be disqualified).

Some notes:

• You can enter as many haikus as you like, but keep in mind we'll be judging on quality, not quantity.
• Submit your entries to skypegear.haiku@gmail.com.
• Along with your haiku(s), include your name and country
• The deadline for entries is 11:59 pm BST on June 12, three weeks from today.
• We’ll post the best haikus on Skypegear and contact the winner in mid-June to arrange delivery of the prize.
