Having already appeared in the UK, Sweden, Denmark, and Australia, this week 3's X-Series has launched in Italy, bringing with it unlimited web and Skype usage (subject to fair usage limits, of course) on your 3 mobile. Read on to learn more.

A 3 mobile on X-Series is much more than your average mobile. X-Series provides unlimited (within reason) access to Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Go, eBay, and Google as well as email and general web access for 3€/week or 9€/month in Italy.

Skype is available on the Nokia N95 and LG U970 Shine (above) as well as the Nokia N73 and E65. We mentioned the E65 when it launched in the UK; the N95 is Nokia's current flagship phone and a lust-worthy object indeed, with a 5 megapixel camera and WiFi. Learn more about the X-Series in Italy here.
