UK: Win a Philips VOIP841 cordless dual phone!

Andrew Brennan on October 5, 2007 in Competitions, Cordless phones, Philips.
Hey UK readers--you may have caught it in Wednesday's Evening Standard, but if not... Skype has been highlighted in the latest 'Really Useful Ideas and Bargains' column by Alison Cork (the item is also on her blog here). Clark mentions the Philips VOIP841--the cordless dual phone for Skype and landlines that we and many others love--and also a contest that the Standard is running in conjunction with Skype. There are 10 Philips VOIP841 phones up for grabs, and it's really easy to enter to win...
To enter, all you need to do is email your contact details (your name, phone number, Skype name and email address) to philipscompetition@skype.net before October 24. Simple as that. Winners will be selected at random and told they've won via Skype.
Don't forget--this giveaway is only open to UK Skype users. And of course, if you like the phone and don't want to leave getting it to chance, you can purchase it at the Skype store (with a 6 month subscription to Skype Pro included) for £99 here.
Here's Clark's item:

This is not true Philips phone but Chinese junk pretending to be Philips. I had to return it and pay 21€ or £14.65. It is now common place trick used by previously trusted EU and US companies. So much so that during past year I lost well over £100 just for returning broken Chinese junk pretend to be trusted Western products. Not long a go I received 3 in the row broken Chinese hard drives, pretending to be Western, before I got working one! This is highly immoral practice as people are cheated to pay money for trusted names only to get Chinese junk, a lot of stress and lost of time, which is money as well. All this only to satisfy greedy companies.
Those who want to avoid getting junk instead of properly working electronic goods should confirm where the product was actually manufactured. In the EU, US or somewhere in the Third World country run by the corrupted and despotic regime.
