The Skype iPhone app seems a bit iffy, so far. My wife and I downloaded it a couple days ago, and we've been trying to use it with our SkypeIn number. On several occasions, my wife has had the app running on her phone, in our house with a full Wi-Fi signal, but my calls to her (made to the SkypeIn #) don't go through. Her phone never rings; I just get thrown to voice mail after two rings or so on my end.
I'm really trying to build a system that can allow us to totally dump our landline, but I'm starting to feel that might not be possible with Skype. I hope I'm wrong, as this seems to have so much promise.
