Good news for those of you calling India — the 50% off promotion has been extended to the end of August.
Whether you're calling from Birmingham to Bangalore, Portsmouth to Pune, or Manchester to Mirat, you can make calls to Indian landlines for 4.7p per minute excluding VAT, which works out at just over 5.2p per minute including VAT.
All you need to do is grab some Skype credit and get calling ![]()
If you've never made a call from your computer before, don't worry — we've put together a guide to show you how.

I have been trying to call UK and India, using the normal dialing ..
011 - 44 - XXX XXX XXXX UK
011 - 91 - XXX XXX XXXX - INDIA
Not been able to connect.. it just drops , does not connect at all..
Am I missing the right way to dial?
Any help will be appreciated.

Instead of 011, try using a +, so numbers should be in the format: +44 XXX XXX XXXX for the UK or +91 XXX XXX XXXX for India. Hope that helps
