Having a Father's Day headache? Just can't decide what to buy for dear, old dad?
Here's the remedy: Take one tablet and your headache will go away.
The tablet is the Nokia N810, a pocket-sized Internet tablet.

I charged up the $479 device, pushed the power button and logged in easily to my Wi-Fi network at home.
I put a Skype icon on the Tablet desktop and clicked. My Skype contact list was instantly available. This mini-computer with a four-inch, highrez screen has a big-computer feel.
Next thing I knew I was on Skype making phone calls and chatting. I used it as a speakerphone and the sound quality was good.
You can navigate using the touchscreen. There is a soft keypad you can use with a stylus or your fingertip or slide out the QWERTY keyboard. The keys are small, but not too small.
The N810 Internet Tablet is a great example of convergence:
*It has a built-in Web camera and microphone.
*The N810 enables the user to check e-mail and Facebook accounts and to watch videos on YouTube or catch up on a favorite blog.
*Can't get Wi-Fi? The media player has up to 45 hours of music playback and memory to store up to 7,500 songs on an optional 10GB memory card.
*Need to find a find Wi-Fi hotspots? Look up an address and use the integrated GPS receiver.
As I tell my sons, the most important holiday of the year is Father's Day. And what a gift a Nokia N810 would be. It would just keep on giving.
